Smash Padel Club

Privacy policy

Last updated 20 September 2026

This policy explains what Smash Padel Club collects when you play, who we share it with, and how you can delete it. Training works without creating a saved account. It covers the Smash Padel Club app on iOS and Android and this website.

Who we are

Smash Padel Club is a padel game for iOS and Android. The operator of this app and this website is Smash Padel Club (contact: hello@owne.com).

If you have questions about this policy or about your data, email that address.

What we collect

Online play uses Unity Gaming Services. We store:

  • An anonymous account id issued by Unity Authentication, created automatically when you go online. There is no signup, no email and no password — this version of the game has no way to create or sign in to a named account.
  • Your display name. Names are filtered before they are saved. Other players in a match or lobby can see it.
  • Your match record, league rating and owned gear (Cloud Save).
  • An approximate location — a rough region worked out from your IP address, never GPS. Unity uses it to put you on a nearby game server. We do not store it as part of your profile.
  • Basic connection diagnostics, such as whether a match connected and how stable it was, so we can tell a broken server from a broken phone.
  • Reports you submit about another player (reporter id, reported player id, reason). We use these to act on abuse.

What stays on the device

Settings, local progress and shop state can stay in on-device storage so Training and the shop work offline. Uninstalling the app removes that local copy. Cloud data is removed only when you delete the account in-app (see Delete your data).

Why we collect it

We use this data to run multiplayer, show your name and record, keep your record and gear in sync across devices, and handle reports.

This version of the game shows no ads. There is no ad network in the app and no advertising identifier is collected.

We do not sell personal data. We do not use your data to build a marketing list.

Names and other player content

Custom display names, tags and group names are user-generated content. Other players can see them. We filter names before they are posted. You can report or block a player from their lobby seat or from the friends list. We aim to act on reports within 24 hours, including resetting a name or restricting an account.

Who we share it with

We do not share your data with advertisers, data brokers or analytics companies. The only third parties involved are the services that actually run the game:

  • Unity Technologies (Unity Gaming Services): Authentication, Cloud Save, Cloud Code, Friends / lobby. Unity processes this as our service provider. See Unity’s privacy policy at unity.com/legal/privacy-policy
  • Apple and Google, as the stores that distribute the app.

Ads

This version of Smash Padel Club shows no ads. No advertising SDK is included in the app, no advertising identifier is read, and nothing about you is sent to an ad network.

If we add ads in a future release, we will update this policy and the store’s Data safety listing before that release ships.

This website

The Smash Padel Club website is hosted by a web host (currently Vercel). The host may log technical data such as IP address, browser type, device type and pages requested, to operate, secure and debug the site.

This site does not set advertising cookies and does not run a marketing or analytics pixel. Store buttons may send you to Apple or Google, which have their own policies.

How we protect it

Traffic to the app’s online services and to this website uses HTTPS. Cloud data is stored with Unity Gaming Services. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we take reasonable steps to protect your data.

How long we keep it

Account, name, match record, friends, groups and a private profile photo stay until you delete the account, or until we close the service.

Player reports are kept long enough to review and act on them.

Delete your account and data

In the app, which is the fastest way: on the title screen swipe across to your profile, tap Account, then Delete account and confirm twice. That deletes your Unity identity and everything stored against it — display name, league record, match record and owned gear. Training on the device still works, and a new anonymous id is created if you go online again. This cannot be undone.

If you have already uninstalled the app, or cannot reach that screen: email hello@owne.com with the subject “Delete my Smash Padel Club account”. Include the player id from the Account screen if you have it; if you do not, give us the display name you played under and we will find it. We action these within 30 days, and usually within a few working days.

To delete some of your data but keep playing — for example resetting your display name or clearing your match record — email the same address and say what you want removed. There is no in-app control for that yet.

Once deleted, your account id, display name, match record, league rating and owned gear are gone immediately. Two things outlive the account: reports filed about abuse, which we keep for up to 12 months so repeat offenders can be caught, and server logs containing an IP address, which are kept for up to 30 days for security and debugging.

Local data on your device — settings, Training progress and shop state — is not on our servers. Uninstalling the app removes it.

Children

Smash Padel Club is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has created an account, email us and we will delete it.

Where data is processed

Unity Gaming Services may process data on servers outside your country, including the United States and the European Union. By using online play you understand that your data may be transferred to those locations.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold, or to object to certain processing. Use Delete account in the app, or email hello@owne.com.

We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising as those terms are used under California law. If you are in the EEA or UK, we process this data to provide the game (contract) and to keep the community safe (legitimate interests).

Changes

If this policy changes in a material way, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where required, show a notice in the app.
